A Natural Part of Life

For most of human history, the beginning and end of life occurred in very much the same way: at home, in the midst of loved ones gathered together. With the coming of modern medicine, events to welcome life and to witness its departure moved out of the home and into the hospital. While it now seems perfectly natural for babies to be born there, many people feel that end-of-life care calls for a less clinical, more familiar setting.

Samaritan Hospice care is, in the fullest sense of the word, a return home. For patients, it provides a source of comfort and relief from pain. For caregivers, it offers a helping hand to ease their task. For families, friends, and loved ones alike, Samaritan's many services provide them the gift of time spent together to share the memories of a lifetime.
